The Oneway Retreat v8.png

Experience an eight‑day martial arts retreat set high in the Green Mountains of Vermont — six days of focused training, renewal, and personal transformation.

Each morning begins with the rising sun as you make your ascent to the summit, where an open‑air training hall stands overlooking the forest below. Rustic sleeping quarters rest just above the training floor, creating a space where you live and train in harmony with the mountain itself.

Throughout the week, you will engage in a comprehensive curriculum that challenges the body, sharpens the mind, and strengthens the spirit. From striking and grappling to weapons work and conditioning, every session is designed to expand your skill, deepen your discipline, and reconnect you with the heart of martial arts practice.

The mountain environment becomes your partner in training — the crisp air, the quiet woods, the steady rhythm of nature all working together to refine your focus and resilience. As you train alongside your peers, shared effort and shared challenge forge genuine camaraderie and a sense of purpose that lasts long after the retreat ends.

This retreat welcomes adults of all ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds. Every participant will be supported, every participant will be pushed, and every participant will rise to meet their own potential.

Six days of training. Eight days of immersion. One unforgettable journey.

Simple Meals

You’ll receive three essential meals a day, each including a vegetarian component—typically achieved by omitting certain meat additives. Meals offers little flexibility, as its simplicity is meant to reflect the monastic tradition. You will also take part in the preparation of the food.

Rank Advancement

Over the course of the week, you will train more than most practitioners do in six months. Consequently, you may receive accelerated rank advancement. This is done at no additional charge. Those seeking induction into Oneway may receive rank befitting their experience.
